At ProgrammedRadios.com, your satisfaction is our priority. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right. Our return policy is designed to be clear, fair, and hassle-free.
30-Day Return Policy (Physical Products)
Most physical items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are:
- Unused
- In original condition
- In original packaging
Eligible Items Include:
- Baofeng UV-5R radios
- Radio accessories (antennas, chargers, cases, mounts, etc.)
- Laminated cards and maps
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Pre-Programmed Radios — Special Conditions
Pre-programmed radios require custom work and cannot be resold as new once opened.
- If the radio has never been powered on or used, it qualifies for a standard return.
- If the radio has been used or programmed, returns are accepted within 30 days but may incur a 15% restocking fee.
Digital & Data-Based Products (Non-Refundable)
Digital products cannot be returned or refunded due to their ability to be copied or duplicated. This includes:
- USB “Knowledge Vault” drives
- Offline survival libraries
- Preloaded maps or manuals
- Downloadable files
If your digital product arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it at no cost.
Radio Warranty (30-Day Functional Warranty)
All radios purchased from us include a 30-day functional warranty.
If you experience issues, our team will:
1. Troubleshoot with you
2. Provide reprogramming support
3. Replace defective units, if necessary
Exchanges
If you received the wrong item or something arrived damaged, contact us within 7 days and we will send a replacement immediately.

- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)
